Who controls your information
This Privacy Policy explains how Grand Audio Design Ltd, trading as ORFF CABLE, collects, uses, retains and shares personal information.
Grand Audio Design Ltd is the data controller. Contact us at info@orffcable.co.uk or at the address shown below.
Information we may collect
We may collect:
- Name, billing and delivery addresses, email address and telephone number
- Order contents, product configuration, payment status, refunds and transaction records
- Customer-service enquiries, returns, repairs, warranty requests and complaints
- Account details and communication preferences
- IP address, device, browser, website activity and cookie identifiers
- Information needed for fraud prevention, security and compliance
- Photographs, videos or product-use information that you voluntarily provide
Full payment-card details are normally processed directly by Wix or the relevant payment provider. We generally receive only the payment status or limited transaction information needed to fulfil and record the order.
How we obtain information
We collect information when you order, create an account, subscribe, complete a form, contact support, request a return or repair, or browse the website. We may also receive order-related information from Wix, payment providers, couriers and fraud-prevention services.
Purposes and lawful bases
We may process information for:
- Contract: Orders, payments, delivery, returns, refunds, warranty and customer service
- Legal obligation: Accounting and tax records, statutory rights and lawful regulatory requests
- Legitimate interests: Website security, fraud prevention, service improvement, business administration and legal claims, balanced against individual rights
- Consent: Marketing where consent is required and non-essential cookies or similar technologies
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
Marketing
We send marketing only where legally permitted. You can unsubscribe using the link in a message or contact info@orffcable.co.uk.
Service communications, such as order confirmations, delivery updates, security notices and important policy changes, are not marketing and may still be sent where necessary.
Who may receive information
We may share the minimum necessary information with:
- Wix and website hosting, ecommerce and technical providers
- Banks, payment and fraud-prevention providers
- DHL, UPS, FedEx or the courier used for an order
- Email, support, analytics and cloud-service providers
- Accountants, lawyers, insurers and professional advisers
- Courts, regulators, tax authorities or law-enforcement bodies where lawfully required
- Relevant professional parties during a corporate sale, acquisition or restructuring, subject to appropriate safeguards
We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where information is transferred to a country without a recognised adequate level of protection, we will use an appropriate legal safeguard, such as approved contractual terms, and additional measures where necessary.
Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for its purpose, legal obligations and dispute handling.
- Order, payment, tax and accounting records are generally retained for the legally required period, normally at least six years after the relevant company financial year
- Support, return and repair records are retained as needed to manage enquiries, warranty and legal claims
- Marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe or object; a minimal suppression record may be retained so that marketing is not sent again
- Cookie retention depends on purpose and configuration and is described in the Cookie Policy
Security
We use technical and organisational measures proportionate to the risk to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse and disclosure. Internet transmission cannot be guaranteed as completely secure, and customers should also protect their account and device information.

Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, you may have rights to:
- Be informed and obtain a copy of your information
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request erasure or restriction
- Object to certain processing, including direct marketing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent
- Protection relating to significant solely automated decisions
Contact info@orffcable.co.uk to exercise a right. We may need to verify your identity and will normally respond within the applicable legal period.
You may object to the use of your personal information for direct marketing at any time.
Automated decisions
Except for automated checks that may be used by payment, fraud-prevention or security providers, we do not currently intend to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects. If this changes, we will update this Policy.

The website is not directed specifically at children. We do not knowingly collect children’s information inappropriately and will take reasonable steps to delete it if identified.
